THE CONSCIENCE OF YOUR BODY

There are many misconceptions about spirituality. A lot of people do think that spirituality is only linked with our mind and spirit, which is totally wrong. While mind and spirit play an important role in directing our thoughts and intelligence in a positive way, it is very important to have a true conscience of our body.

Not only is our body the external envelope that carries us till our last day, it also regulates the most important functions that allow us to stay alive and in a good state of health.

That's why we should learn to cherish our bodies.

How do I cherish my body?

-first by loving it, by praising it, by feeling good in your skin. If you are not satisfied with your current body shape, instead of blaming your body, visualize it in your preferred shape.

-second, by giving your body plenty of exercise. You can drop the lazy " I don't have time to exercise" from now on! If you don't have time to exercise, you will have to find time to be sick and visit the doctor all the time.

Be regular in your physical practice, no matter what it is.

-third, hydrate your body properly by drinking enough water and stick to a healthy diet.
Learn to listen to your body, show your body the highest respect.

Body and mind are truly interdependent. If you are feeling unwell, it will be much more difficult for you to focus on exercises like meditation, or visualization.

By developping a true awareness of your body, you will allow yourself to live a more balanced and fulfilled life.

So, what are you waiting for?

THE GIFT OF LIFE

I have been dealing with lots of people who were very dissatisfied with their lives. Some of them were only capable of seeing the negative side of their life. I've even heard from an angry mouth: " Don't tell me that at least I got my health with all the amount of problems I am dealing with!"

Back off, please! Yes, I am going to insist on the fact that you do possess your health!
Health is one of the most precious gift you can get from life. There are so many people in this world who are unable to walk, who were born with diseases, who'd give anything in the world to be healthy!

Being able to breathe, to get up in the morning, to walk properly, to have all your body functions working properly is a real MIRACLE!

Before you start focusing on problems and other daily issues, take a moment to look at all the wonderful things you have been granted. You can see with your eyes, catch the sunrise, see the world and its harmonious colors, you can hear the birds sing in the morning, you can smell your food, you can touch a friend's hand.

You are alive, breathing on the face of the earth. No matter what problems you are facing, a new day has been given to you. Take a moment of retreat. Think about it. Be grateful for the wonderful gift of life!

YOUR PERSPECTIVE DOES IT ALL!

The way you are viewing things in your daily life determine how you feel. They also have a great impact on your desired outcome.

Are you really conscious on the life perspective you are choosing? If your answer to my question is no, you should definitely watch the inner dialogue that is taking place in your mind, especially if you catch yourself with repetitive, negative thoughts. When this happens, your best bet is always to go opposite and rephrase your negative affirmations in a positive way.

The powerful act of rephrasing a sentence will allow you to fully view things from a more positive perspective. It will lift all negative weights and pressures and open the door to very new perspectives.

Let me show you a concrete example of two different types of perspectives.

Imagine two different individuals were set for a compulsatory training.

Individual A is considering that the unwanted training is a full waste of time. He is sad and angry even before the training session begins. During the whole training, he is inattentive, bored, totally depleted of his energy. He decides to shut his mind to any type of information and skills he could acquire.

Individual B is considering that the training session will allow him to learn new skills. He has the will to learn and to listen. During the whole session, he invests himself by participating. He is happy with the new knowledge he just acquired and his experience is very fruitful.

Who do you think really wins? Who is making the best of his circumstances? Individual B, of course, because he went with an open mind and a positive perspective. His good will and willingness to learn allowed him to acquire some new skills.

Next time you catch yourself with some unpleasant sentences in your mind, immediately think about rephrasing your sentence in a positive way. This way, you will allow some positive changes to arise.

Remember: you are the master of your ship!
